How built-in groups differ from your own¶
- Their words can't be added to, changed or removed, but you can record your own pronunciation for any word in them.
- They always have enough words to count as active. The 10-word minimum only applies to groups you create.
- They don't count towards the word group limits.
- Their words are spoken from recorded pronunciations rather than your device's voice, unless you record your own. Words in Confusable Homophones are spoken with a short example phrase, so you know which spelling is wanted.
- Practice reminders (Premium) are worked out from your own word groups only. Built-in groups don't affect the reminder schedule.
- Their grades and any recordings are cleared by Reset All Data, which also switches the first free group back on.
